Everything you need to know about open play, what to bring, and how to get started.
Open Play
Open play sessions are organized by skill level and available to active Groveport Pickleball Club members. Paddles rotate after each game to keep things moving and give everyone an equal opportunity to play.
New players are welcome. If you’re not sure where to start, arrive a few minutes early and let players know you’re new. We’ll help you find the right court and answer questions.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8:00 AM – Noon
Weather dependent.
What to Bring
- Court shoes
- Paddle (loaners available occasionally)
- Water bottle
- Positive attitude
Open Play Etiquette
- Rotate paddles promptly after each game so everyone gets a turn.
- Help keep play balanced. Move to the appropriate level or court when asked.
- Be kind to new players. A quick tip goes a long way.
