Supporting local causes and strengthening our community, on and off the courts.
Pickleball brings us together, but our impact extends beyond the game. As a club, we believe in using our time, energy, and events to support neighbors in meaningful ways.
2025 Community Impact
In 2025, the Groveport Pickleball Club donated 186 items to the local Food Pantry through a community-wide food drive. The generosity of our members continues to show that our club is about more than play. It is about people.
We were also honored to host Special Olympics athletes for a dedicated instructional class in 2025, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment on our courts.
2026 Initiatives
In 2026, we are continuing and expanding our commitment to local service and support.
Seasonal Food Drive
We will continue supporting the Groveport Food Pantry through organized donation drives during peak need seasons.
Special Olympics Partnership
We are continuing our partnership with inclusive instructional sessions and dedicated court time for Special Olympics athletes.
Groveport Human Needs Fundraiser
On June 6, 2026, we’re raising funds for Groveport Human Needs.
Groveport Human Needs supports local families experiencing emergency situations, providing assistance with:
- Rent and utilities
- Car repairs
- Medical needs
- School supply distribution
- Christmas Angels program
- Cruiser Closets, which provide basic clothing and hygiene essentials for urgent circumstances based on a social worker’s discretion
Through this event, our goal is to help strengthen safety nets for families in our own community.
